Hyde

Construction industry statistics state that 85% of
family-owned businesses don’t make it to the second generation and a minuscule percentage make it to the third. Hyde Sheet Metal Co’s third generation 100 year history is quite remarkable in our industry where the vast majority of the work is done by subcontractors. Congratulations to you Jim, your family, and everyone at Hyde Sheet Metal on your 100th Anniversary.

BSI Constructors knows that Jim Hyde, Jr. can always be relied on for quality work, competitive pricing, solid performance,
and personal integrity.

I can highly recommend Hyde Sheet Metal for projects
large and small. Jim Hyde and his staff are professional, responsive and above all committed to customer satisfaction.
I have worked with Hyde Sheet Metal on three of my own residential projects over the years, and if I did three more, there would be no reason to call anyone but Hyde.

As a general contractor, I have always been thrilled working with Hyde Sheet Metal.  A number of my projects are very complicated and challenging.  Hyde has always provided excellent craftsmanship and work.  The installers have always been wonderful to have on my sites.  And, of course, often events don't go exactly as planned.  In these situations, Hyde has always been helpful in resolving problems, suggesting solutions, and making a success of the opportunities.

Hyde Sheet Metal, with their talented team of gifted professionals has been extremely successful in exceeding our expectations on all of our projects at our home,
Top of the Hill Farm.

In 1994, we turned to Hyde to fabricate and install all of our copper flashing, scuppers, downspouts, drip caps and gutters on our Dick Busch designed and renovated 160 year old farm house in St. Albans, Missouri.

Our 1850 hand-hewn timber frame, German Bank Barn was dismantled in 2005 in Ohio and moved to out home where it was meticulously renovated with a classic standing seam roof, copper cupola, and custom 6" copper gutters and downspouts,
all expertly handcrafted and installed by Hyde's
experienced craftsmen.

Again, in 2009, we called on Hyde when our home burned down. The "one of a kind" cupola shares the same warm, mellowed feeling of all the copper work featuring the precision joinery, executed by hands that took the time to do it right.

Jim Hyde's approach to quality, craftsmanship, integrity, and client satisfaction has been a most rewarding experience for the Sehnert family. His grandfather, who founded Hyde Sheet Metal in 1910, would be very proud.

We have had the pleasure of working with Hyde Sheet Metal for over 15 years. Much of our work requires replicating old,
worn copper work of which Hyde has been able to do
with the highest level of craftsmanship. From the office to the field, Hyde's people are very professional and work well with the carpenters to give our clients the product they expect from Markway Construction.
